Plugin Group

Use this Wiki Plugin to display content based on the user's groups or friends. It is similar to PluginPerm.

Use and Parameters

To use this plugin in a wiki page, use the syntax: 

{GROUP(groups=>Registered|Admins, notgroups=Editors)}some content{ELSE}other content{GROUP}
Parameter Accepted values Effect Since
groups group name or list - each group name is separated with a vertical bar 'some text' will display for users in these groups (directly or by inheritance), otherwise 'other content' (after {ELSE}) will display. case sensitive!
notgroups Sgroup name or list - each group name is separated with a vertical bar Works opposite of the groups parameter 1.9.7
friends user name or list separated by vertical bar friends of these users will see 'some content', others see 'other conent' if ELSE is used 4.0
noteNote

  • The part {ELSE} is optional.
  • Both parameter groups and notgroups can be combined.

Security

Be careful not to use this plugin to display secure information if the users you are hiding something from can edit the page or view source in history.
