Module Controls
Module controls are little tools that appear at the top of modules. These controls allow users to modify the module by moving it up or down within the column, switching it to the left or right column, or removing the module.
To activate modules controls in your Tiki you need to complete several steps:
- Login as admin.
- From the Admin home, click Modules
.
You can also access the Admin: Modules page by usingtiki-admin.php?page=module. - On the Administration: Modules page:
- Enable the "Show Module Controls" option.
- Enable the "Users can Configure Modules" option.
- In tiki-assignpermission.php make sure your users have tiki_p_configure_modules
When it works you will see something like this:
-
— Move the module up, within the same column.
-
— Move the module down, within the same column.
-
— Switch the module to the other column.
-
— Remove the module.
-
— Shade (collapse) the module.
